Prez should take step to end political deadlock: Gautam

BHARATPUR, AUG 24 - UML Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam has said that President Ram Baran Yadav should take step to end political deadlock. Speaking to reporters in Bharatpur on Friday, Gautam said the president has no alternative to move ahead to prevent the country from looming into crisis. The president should take broader step as the UCPN (Maoist) will not quit the government as per their strategy to capture state power. Saying that the constitution has given the privilege to the president to use his power, Gautam opined that President Yadav should announce the procedure to elect new prime minister abiding by the articles of the constitution. ekantipur
